Over 80 Scientific Papers Have Cited Stork

TL;DR

Stork has now been cited in 82 scientific papers, from 7 countries and more than 40 universities and research institutions. And the pace is picking up: nearly a quarter of those citations arrived in just the past eight months. Thank you for making Stork part of your research!

What would it look like if we pinned every paper that cites Stork onto a world map?

Something like the picture above: pins scattered across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania — a research footprint that keeps on growing.

Behind those pins are 82 publications covering a remarkable range of fields: medicine, life sciences, agriculture, materials science, environmental science, engineering, and psychology.

Most of them appeared in SCI- and SSCI-indexed journals, including high-impact titles such as Science Bulletin and Advanced Functional Materials.

It all started with a single citation in 2017. Back then, Stork mainly helped researchers track and read papers. Today, it supports analysis, writing, and publication — the entire research workflow.

Here’s the part that amazes us most. When we last counted in October 2025, the total had just passed 60. In other words: it took eight years to gather the first 60 citations — and only eight months to add the next 20.

And these recent citations tell a story of their own. They come from materials science, agriculture, environmental science, and psychology — a sign that Stork has grown well beyond its roots in biomedicine into a truly multidisciplinary research platform.

So which features are researchers thanking in their papers? The clear favorite is the Writing Assistant:

" The text in this paper was polished and significantly improved by Stork's Writing Assistant (https:// http://www.storkapp.me/writeassistant/)."

Writing Assistant polishes your text, corrects grammar, and expands paragraphs — and with its Word Add-in, you can do all of this without ever leaving your document.

Researchers also frequently credit Big Analysis and Citation Network:

"The authors would like to thank Stork (https://www.storkapp.me/) for their invaluable support and resources that greatly assisted the review."

Big Analysis gives you a bird’s-eye view of an entire field in minutes: growth trends, geographic distribution, leading experts (with their contact information), plus genes, diseases, brain regions, and more.

Citation Network helps you spot the classic, must-read papers in a field within minutes — more research, less effort.

Stork's AI Paper is a rising star, too. It creates a structured first draft for you, so the hardest part of writing — getting started — becomes much easier.

To everyone who has used, cited, or recommended Stork: thank you. Our goal remains the same as it was on day one — to help you spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on discovery, critical thinking, and scientific innovation.

"Writing Assistant is an excellent tool for scientists and researchers to improve the quality of their publication writing. I highly recommend Writing Assistant for those whose native language is not English or who lack writing skills and ideas."

Juanjuan Du, Professor

Tsinghua University

"In the past, the task of writing was often time-consuming. Fortunately, Writing Assistants have made this process much simpler by providing multiple sentences with the same meaning. This has made writing much more efficient and enjoyable."

Hüseyin Yiğit

Erciyes University

"I needed some support with English language and grammar during the publication process of my work. For this purpose, I applied to various language services, and their cost exceeded $400. With Stork, I resolved the language and grammar needs of my manuscript for only $12. Stork saved me $400. I thank the Stork team."

“Big Analysis is a fantastic tool for scientists in need of aggregating all aspects of research in their field. Personally, I've used Big Analysis to find papers to include in a systematic review for publication, to aggregate existing data for power analyses, and to finding the name and contact information for other researchers in my field. Together with Stork, Big Analysis is an indispensable tool for all research scientists.
